LADY CRIES OUT AFTER FAILED LIPOSUCTION BY A QUARK COSMETIC SURGEON, DR ANU, SAYS SHE HAS FINISHED MY BACK SIDE WITH INFECTION
A lady that has chosen to be anonymous has come out to cry about a failed butt enlargement surgery ( liposuction ) conducted on her by suspended cosmetic surgeon popularly known as Dr Anu.
According to her, she is a Nigerian that resides in America and she flew in from New York to Abuja for the surgery which was conducted on her by the suspended cosmetic surgeon. She was not aware that her licence to practice in her field had been withdrawn by the Federal Competition and Consumers Protection Commision ( FCCPC ).

Dr Anu whose real name is Anuoluwapo Adepoju is the CEO of Med Contour Nigeria, an agency that is into cosmetic surgery and Easthetic medicine. She is an MBBS holder who graduated from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos in 2015. She then went further to upgrade her training in Liposuction, Hair Transplantation, and other minimal non invasive procedures, at Estecenter Plastic Surgery Center, Instanbul Turkey. She also had a training at a live educational body cadavar workshop in the United States, Orlando Florida, where she had the chance of performing different cosmetic procedures ranging from liposuction, tummy tuck, breast lift, Impacts and Brazilian butt lifting. She also had a 3 months intensive training and mentorship programme at Desoto Family and Surgery Center, Desoto texas.
On her return to Nigeria, she registered with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and the Nigerian Medical Association with which she obtained a certificate to practice her specialization, and then opened the Med Contour Clinic at Lekki, Lagos. According to the records, she has carried out over 300 procedures. Her woes started in 2019 when one ex beauty queen Nneka Miriam Onwuzuligbo died on her watch after staying in coma for 31 days after undergoing a butt enlargement surgery.
Her clinic was later shut down by the Federal competition and Consumers Protection Commision ( FCCPC ) due to a public outcry after she was arrested and arraigned before the Federal High Court Ikoyi for the failed surgery which led to the death of Nneka Miriam Onwuzuligbo. Her licence to practice as a surgeon in Nigeria was seized by the government as she was instructed to stop conducting surgeries on patients from the 5th November 2020 till further notice.
FCCPC should look into this and do the necessary before more people would fall into the danger of losing their lives. And as for ladies who want big butt and are thinking of conducting surgery to enhance any part of their body, please do yourself the favour of meeting the right professionals with a high rate of success at conducting the surgery you desire. Before you book an appointment with any cosmetic surgeon, do a research on them.
