Baby Born With Foot The Size As Dad’s Thumbnail Grows and survives For 210 Days And is now Looking totally Healthy

Seeta and Giriraj welcomed a little girl into the world and were happy to be parents, but that joy was dampened by the fact that this child was born 12 weeks prematurely.

Manushi was born weighing just 14oz and measuring 8.6in long. This made her just as heavy as a bar of chocolate. At birth, her foot was as big as her dad’s thumbnail. All of her organs were underdeveloped, and her skin was only paper-thin.

Seeta suffered dangerously high blood pressure during her pregnancy, which put her child in danger: there was no blood flowing through the fetus. 28 weeks into the pregnancy, Seeta underwent a c-section and her daughter was immediately placed on a ventilator.

Doctors gave the little one only 0.5% chance of survival without brain damage. Her parents waited anxiously for her to grow.

210 days later, they finally got to take her home. She is thought to be the smallest surviving baby ever born in Asia.

Now scroll down to see what she looks like after such a harrowing start at life! Pictures below shows the little manushi in and out of life threatening conditions.
