Assumption

How far can we go assuming?

Assumption means taking to or upon oneself that something is this way even though it is not. It means assuming. It means supposing a thing without proof or evidence. Assumption is not only dangerous but also a wreck to the human, thoughts mind and behavior. Most times we misbehave or act in a certain way that we don't,  and we call it change. We call keeping malice and wrecking our friendships and homes change. We let our selves get fooled by our inability to believe in the truth. Assuming something is nothing but a waste of our energy and time. It comes only to taunt with our emotions and believes. We see ourselves assume that our spouse [s] is cheating, we see ourselves assume that love doesn't exist, we see ourselves assume that our friends are lying to us, even when there is no evidence to all these assumptions. Assumption is like putting charges and sentencing others to life imprisonment without verification and judicial judgment. We leave them with little or no chance to plead innocent of the charges laid upon their shoulders. The only thing that assumption does to us is to destroy and cage our mind and put them in a situation that we will become blind to the truth, deaf to the innocent plead of our beloved.

I have been talking about the effect of assumption on the guilty charged but nothing have I spoken on the chargee. The thing about assuming and charging the victim to court is that the chargee will never still be happy. He or she will keep on being restless and uncertified for several reasons:

The fact that there is no case or should I say, unwarranted claim. The fact that our mind has toiled with us to the extent that we are unable to let go off the claim without bringing the other person down. The fact that we are unable to see the truth that the other person might be innocent of the allegation charged on him. No matter the number of times we try to make ourselves believe the lie that there is nothing to loose in charging the other, the truthful spirit in us will always fight us letting us know that there might be a bigger truth that we can expose by waiting, enduring, forgiving, loving, seeing the truth and light in the darkest lie and façade. There is nothing good that rushing and impatience can bring to us, rather it piles up more bad and reasons to be frustrated. And so I will end this topic by saying that “assumption is the product of our frustration”. No amount of tiredness should make us stop seeing the beauty in patience and calmness. Love is something so beautiful to be wasted in frustration and total disbelieve…….
