Are we really Christians as we claim?

Noting the true Christian believes….

In the world today everyone claims Christianity but the challenging questions we have failed to ask ourselves is if we really are Christians as we claim. The importance of Christianity is  to go to church every Sunday and listening to the preachers preaching, rather it is in understanding those preaching's and trying so hard to live by those preaching. It is not the number of times that we go to church that makes up eligible to enter heaven, rather it is how we try to grow our religious understanding and impact the knowledge to others that makes us real Christians and followers of Christ. Christian believes is something that is meant to be sacred but due to the fact that our hearts, soul and body works differently from each other, we have soured the real image of Christ. We listen to preaching from the church, road, market  places and most times we read the bible, but the truth is that we have failed to understand the true messages that those preachers have tried to pass on to us.  We claim Christianity but in reality we are church goers under the influence of sin.  We listen to the gospel at one time and commit a greater sin at the other time, and these times are not usually far from each other, and I call these sins “njo ekereuwa” in igbo.  This sin makes us to find it difficult to do good but derive joy and pleasure in doing evil, thereby hurting our body, soul, and those of the real Christians. This sin has made us unable to see Christ calling out to us, we are unable to  welcome him in our live, we have let anger and frustration to take the better part of us, and in return hunger, sufferings and deaths has embraced us with well opened hands.

 The devil has let loose his warriors and angels of  death, fornication, grudge, malice, hatred, dissatisfaction, fight, and hopeless to go into the world and wins souls of the unrighteous for him. And at the same time God has sent his angels of light, love, greatness, mercy, etc to go into the world and redeem, restore, our souls and let open the great visitation of his holy self in our lives.

I have come to understand that in this life of many churches and preachers what matters is not what kind of instruments we use, it is not the kind of voices we raise, it is not the kind of ornaments we wear, neither is it the kind of way we preach, rather what matters and will always matter is how true our soul, body, heart and spirit was when we preach. What matters is how sincere we are in worshiping and professing his word. It is how grateful we are to him for all he has done for us. It is how  humble we were and lastly how well we have decided to do it. How many hours we last praying to God, how many hours we last in church doesn't mean that our prayers are the best. The 3 minutes prayer of a sincere heart of a singer to God is worth more than the 3 hours prayer of an insincere heart of a so God big church preacher.

We should stop lying to ourselves by calling ourselves that we are Christians while in reality we are nothing more than pagans.

A real Christian doesn't criticize other churches and their celebrations, you shouldn't judge there Christianity neither do you have the right to speak there ungodliness. If there mode of worshiping there God isn't right by them then pray to your God and tell him to teach you the best way to worship him. This is so because God has not yet spoken what church and what heart worships him the best and neither has he judged any church for worshiping any images  and professing fake words in his name.  What we should understand is that no one is holy enough to judge others. What we should understand is that we don't know the right way to worship Yahweh and that we all are trying to worship him in our own ways. What matters in this race is not our different churches, what matters is the heart with which we worship him. 

We all claim Christians but we are never Christians until we have decided to worship the one and true God rightly in truth and in spirit and stop being in the categories of people that go to church early, sit in the front seats, close there eyes when singing praises to God, and after service they go  back to their sins without thinking of the fact that God might actually trash them.

NO CHRISTAIN IS WORTH GOD BECAUSE WE ALL ARE UNREPENTANT……...REPENT NOW AND FOLLOW CHRIST BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE…...
