The delicious taste of snail

Snails are one of african meat used in cooking African soups. Most African families that loves snail meat fear not using it to make there soups.

Children in African homes uses lantern in the olden and modern days to hunt for snails under plantain and banana trees and other trees.

It is not something new when you eat an African food and find snail meat instead of cow or chicken meat.

Snail meat is loved for it's nutritional benefits and also for it's nice tastes.

I don't think I have found an African home that doesn't use snail meats in preparing there meal.

Most at times we cook it to bring out the taste of the snail meat.

Before, snail meats were used in cooking only family meals, but recently hotels, restaurants and big time eateries from both national and international countries now uses this African delicious meat to make food that is accepted and enjoyed by not only African citizens, but also   international citizens.

Most times they use it in making snail sauce, snail pepper soups, serve them fried and most times use the oil and water from the precooked snail meat to cook jell-of rice.
